Hi there,
I am writing from the Gate Theatre in Notting Hill, London. We are a not-for-profit theatre dedicated to producing international work. We have found your brilliant image ‘Dancing on the piano #2’ on flickr ([link]) and wondered if there might be a possibility that we could use it as the production image for a show called "THE KREUTZER SONATA" (a dramatisation of Tolstoy’s novella using live music, actors and dancers) that we are producing in October 2009.
As we are so tiny and not for profit, I'm afraid we couldn't pay anything but we would of course credit you (and your website, including a link from our website) where the image appears (in our brochure, on our website etc). As some small way of thanks if you are ever in London we would be able to give you a pair of free tickets to see the show!
Please can you let me know what you think? It would be most appreciated if you could let me know as soon as possible, and if you are willing for us to use your image, it would be great if you could send me a high resolution version of the image as soon as possible.
If we do not hear from you by Friday 3 July 1600 (GMT) we will assume that you are happy for us to use your image, so please do get in touch and ideally send me a high resolution version of the image as soon as possible.
